A lots of stuff has happenend since I last posted here. I’ve been busy with a couple of new stuff and a bit of old stuff as well. The first new thing which I started recently is the MongoDB class from 10gen. Since NoSQL seems to be the buzzword of the day, I decided to give a shot at finding out more myself. As of now, I’ve completed two weeks of classwork, and the experience has been good. Although I must admit, at one point of time, I did feel like SQL was slightly
more natural way to query and store data in a database, I have picked up will with Mongo. Coming from a C/C++/Java and SQL based background, playing around with stuff like Mongo, and Node have surely started to make me feel like I’m living in the Web’s decade.
Oh yeah, did I mention that my first pull request at GitHub got accepted. Well, I’ll save that for another post.
